The Bottle Theory

Like any other person, I too have a a fair share of annoying situations or people I come across in my life. Over a usual conversation with my mother, I came up with perfect analogy of how I deal with this problem - The Bottle Theory.

Every annoying act by a person is accounted a drop of water falling into the bottle gradually raising the level of water in it. The response till the water level reaches the bottle neck will be the 'passive' phase characterized by a lot of patience. And, if they have no plan of stopping any soon, the level rises and rises.

When the last drop brims the bottle making it ready to overflow, at this point, the passive state is overridden by the 'active' phase. The 'active' phase is characterized with an outburst of all the anger held back for so long corresponding to the integral of all the drops in the bottle till now. It must be noted that the outburst is not just for that final tiny drop, rather, it is for the whole bottle of water.

The climax of the active phase will be either of the extremes: the best or the worst. Either the two parties involved might turn out to understand each others problem deeply and hence solve it to lead a much more stronger and synergic bond. Or this could mark the end of an era for once and for all.

That's it. Bingo!
